Born and raised in Germany, Eylem Kehribar graduated with distinction in Media Science from the University of Tübingen. She began her career in marketing, media, and sales, working on international technology projects before specializing in Internet TV and streaming during a European innovation initiative in 2008, gaining expertise from major projects as a project lead, with in-depth knowledge in building and maintaining TV and streaming platforms.

She later established a consultancy advising global clients on market entry strategies for Türkiye and the MENA region, and co-founded the first Turkish IPTV association, where she served on the board for several years. Today, she remains an active member of this influential network and is also an engaged member of the TUYAD Association.
