He was born in 1984 in Şahinbey district of Gaziantep. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Gaziantep, his associate degree in Mustafa Kemal University Industrial Electronics programme, his bachelor’s degree in Anadolu University Faculty of Economics, his master’s degree in Ankara Social Sciences University Technology Policies and Innovation Management programme. He started his career in 2005 in Air Defence and Command and Control Systems at the Air Force Command for 10 years. In this position, he specialised in Communication Systems, Network and System Expertise, Radars, Command and Control Systems. Afterwards, he managed large-scale projects at TÜBİTAK Defence Industry Research and Development Institute for 7 years and established Turkey’s first mobile flight and test infrastructure and Satellite Communication Test Monitoring Centre. He worked as Project Manager / Team Leader for 1.5 years at DeltaV Space Technologies A.Ş. under the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Presidency of Defence Industries. He is currently working as a consultant for various companies. Oktay İYİSARAÇ, who currently lives in Ankara, is married, has two children and speaks English fluently.
