Resume

B.Koray Tunçalp graduated from Marmara University Technical Education Faculty Electrical Education Department in 1984 and Gabrovo Technical University Power Engineering and Electrical Systems Department in 2014. He completed his doctorate in Electrical Education in 1999. He worked at Marmara University Technical Education Faculty, which was later named Technology Faculty between 1985-2014. He served as Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Head of Department of Electrical and Mechatronics Education. He took electrical, mechatronics, robotics and vibration lessons for educational purposes at Purdue and Indiana University in the USA, Kaunas Technical University and Panevezys Mechatronics Center in Lithuania, and at the Training Center of Brussel & Kjaer Acoustics in Denmark. Tunçalp has been working at Haliç University since 2015 and has been the Director of Vocational School. He also served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Science and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Tunçalp has 1 book of his own and an international 3rd article award. He taught 38 different associate degrees, undergraduate and graduate degrees, and 4 doctoral and 17 graduate thesis advisors. He has worked as an executive, coordinator and researcher in 9 international and national projects. He also taught at the Bahçeşehir University Vocational High School. Between 2003 and 2013, he published journals called Technological Education and Vocational Technical Education. Tunçalp worked as a short-term teacher at the Erasmus Academic Exchange Program at Linneaus University in Sweden in 2018. He has 39 citations, 66 international and national articles and papers. His specialties are; instrumentation, vocational and technical education, smart grids, electrical energy measurement, mechatronic systems.
