In the next 5 years, real estate prices in real life will compete with real estate prices in the virtual world, and even everything in the virtual world will be more expensive. Metaverse will greatly improve the marketing and advertising industries. The walls of virtual buildings and shopping malls are already being formed and even their tenants are taking their places as candidates.

Do a little research, world giant brands are shifting their biggest promotional investments to this area. Maybe eighty percent of people in the world are unaware of it, but this field is developing very quickly. I can explain this speed with internet television, which is rapidly replacing antenna and cable in our industry. So, it is developing much faster than we thought, we should not be late.

The person currently investing the most in Metaverse is Mark Zuckerberg. He changed Facebook’s name to Meta. It is a huge step, it cannot be underestimated and must be strictly followed.

Cryptocurrency, NFT and token have been and will be elements that traders will be interested in and will be involved in. Remember how you interpreted e-commerce in its early days. Even if you object, you pay a lot of commission and stay there. What we need to do is to take our place in this virtual world before it is too late.

Satellite technologies are the only savior without any alternative in emergency response and disaster relief.

Our country has experienced many painful times regarding earthquakes, and our communication problems have come to the fore after each earthquake. Not just an earthquake, but even in any emergency, if the communication is on the ground, problems have definitely occurred and will continue to occur. However, satellites provide direct service from space to the ground without any obstacles and are uninterrupted.

One of the most valuable features of satellites is that they can provide services from space even if any location’s terrestrial networks are damaged or destroyed, or even if areas on the ground are blocked and unmeasurable. Since their owners know that there is no allocation regulation, they continue to own them with all the investment they have. Because the allocation of places will be regulated soon. You can think of it like sun loungers on the beach. The beach is empty and you can swim from anywhere. After a while, places are allocated to someone and there is no room left for you. You can definitely sunbathe and swim in the sea by paying rent.

Now our country has lost its place in distant orbit satellites. We know this and we protect our existing locations with our satellites. We have TURKSAT satellites that we can use in case of disaster. However, we do not have ground stations that we can activate in case of disaster. These need to be resolved as soon as possible.

We have a TAZİS TUYAD (Disaster Communication System) project on this subject. Our corporate members have worked on this subject in many countries around the world and are experienced. The only thing to do is to work on this issue as soon as possible.

Satellite warfare and anti-satellite weapons began to be tested.

After the USA and Russia, satellite warfare studies were initiated in China and Korea. In fact, satellite-to-ground pointing, steam injection and the most common tracking systems up to 50 cm were already known and used models. While we only use satellites for TV and internet systems, many countries in the world have already started using satellites in war efforts.

In fact, we are against and do not support war because all kinds of war mean the end of humanity. However, if the system is moving in this direction, our country should carry out studies in this field.

It is observed that Russia, which has declared that it has tested satellite warfare and anti-satellite weapons, will be a pioneer in space wars. World giants who are interested in the militarization of space after land are planning to win the war from where they sit.

The USA established its space command years ago and is currently using it. They do not have a problem explaining their exercises in space wars. It is also known that they destroyed many satellites that were already finished in the space junk just for practice.

In the chase in space in the last decade, sometimes Russian and sometimes Chinese satellites have been defeated in space wars. Sometimes, US satellites get a chance to escape at the last moment. These news are constantly on the agenda of satellite and space scientists. Although there are experts working on this subject in our country, they are not given priority.

As Turkey’s Satellite Industry Association TUYAD, we are determined about the sustainability of space. Space belongs to all humanity and cannot be monopolized. Satellite wars will put the global sharing of space at risk. This poses a risk for all countries of the world. We definitely do not approve of human beings, who cannot ensure a peaceful life on Earth, taking wars to space.

The USA, Russia and China, which carried out these studies in the first place, should give up space warfare and weapons. Satellites should be used for human communication and service, not for war. Collaborative work should be done to help protect the freedom of discovery and use of new planets.
